Setting up any new piece of software can seem like a daunting task. This Setup and Help Guide aims to make the entire process as simple and convenient for you as possible.

Please note that the versatility of the FIVE CRM packages means that a definitive Setup Guide can not be produced, however these guidelines are designed to help you through the process.

If you require assistance specific to how your system is configured for you then please contact our On-boarding Team.

Logging On

You will have been given a link to your customized FIVE CRM log in page by the Sales team (example: companyname.fivecrm.com). We would recommend adding this link to your Web Browser favorites for easy access in the future.

Adding a page to your favorites is different in each Browser, some basic instructions are below:

For other Browsers please consult their online help systems.

When you visit the log in page your system will check to see whether you are running a supported Web Browser. If you see only the log in page you are running a supported Browser.

You will have been given a Username and Password at the beginning of subscribing with FIVE CRM. Enter these details to Log In. If you see any error messages please click here for instructions on how to resolve these errors before continuing.

Once you are logged in you will be presented with the default Account list view. The Database Area 001 - Example Master Area - has no Data and is ready for your first Import. To see some demo Data go to the Menu option File > Change area and select one of the other Areas.

Configuration

There are a few items that will need to be configured prior to being up and running with the system. Please click here to view our section on how to deal with this in more detail. It is recommended to set the system up in the order specified here.

TIP: after changing settings it is a good idea to ensure your session has all the latest settings by clicking this button in the bottom bar:
