The main use for the Products is for the Customer Product Listings. They are also used in the full Sales Orders.
Product Setup
Go to the Menu option, Setup > Products > Products
To edit the details of a Product, single click it in the list.
To delete a Product, first click on it to edit it, then click the Delete button.
To create a new Product click the
button.
Enter the Product Code and Description. All other Fields are optional.
Name | Description |
Full description | A detailed description of this Product. |
Group | A way of grouping the Products making it easier to distinguish the Product you need. Examples are the Product and Services and these should be created before creating the Product. |
Manufacturer | The Manufacturer of the Product. Examples are Sony and Apple and these should be created before creating the Product. |
Cost Value | The cost value of the Product. |
Sales Value | The Sales Value of the Product. |
Tax Code | The tax code that relates to this product. You will need to create the relevant tax codes before creating the Product |
Projects | You can set Products to be Project Specific and certain Products are shown depending what Project the Account is in. |
Active | Tick this to have the Product shown in the list as active to use |
Quantity Pricing
Quantity pricing enables breakpoints on the pricing such that the system will automatically use the appropriate unit price depending on the quantity entered on the order screen. This is dynamic and works interactively.

Manufacturing Pricing
This will allow you to add the price for this product across the different Manufacturers you have listed.
Click the button
Enter the values as required. To add more rows click the button
Press the Save button to save the Product you have created.
If required, Product Groups, Manufacturers and Tax Code's have to be setup before Products.
