This Email option is where you can configure email settings on a User Profile level.
Email Address
Enter an Email Address for this User Profile, this is only necessary if sending an Email. It can be used as a default From Address when sending emails from the system.
Email Signature
The Email Signature will be placed at the bottom of any Account Documents which are sent when logged into this User Profile. You can add plain Text and HTML.
Outbound Email Settings
It is only necessary to complete these details if each User's Email server is different. Normally every User uses the same connection settings that are entered in the Database Area Setup. One scenario of using these settings is if Users are using Google Gmail. After entering details use the Test Connection button to test the settings.
Incoming email settings
Enter these details to have the system receive Emails. When it does receive Emails the system will find the relevant Account and add the Email to the Contact History. The system will show a message at the right side of the top bar saying "x unread emails". All emails can be viewed at the Menu option View > Email Inbox.
