Available appointment times are usually pre-set (preventing double bookings) and current appointments are displayed with relevant information. Available times are removed from the list which are within a certain time (eg 180 minutes) of any appointment (configured in the Status setup). The calendar may be viewed in either a Weekly or Monthly format. The Weekly calendar is able to show the distance between an appointment and the current account that the Caller is setting.
Sales people are able to set unavailable times and also enter notes onto the diary. Clicking onto an appointment can show the full details, including showing a map of the location.
There is no limit to the number of Salesperson calendar diaries, you just need to create a new Salesperson name in the Menu option Setup > Sales People.
The best way of working is to have the relevant Salesperson name populated on each account before the callers start calling. This can either be imported or it is possible to import a table of post/zip-codes and salesmen, then use the Assign function to do the allocation automatically.
The appointment calendar may be opened in one of the following ways, depending on how the system is configured:

The screen displays accounts according to the selected Salesperson, Status and the Account Appointment Date/Time field.
The system automatically populates the Owner and Status in the filter according to settings in the Area Setup.
The Salesperson filter is populated from the Salesperson that is on the current Account Details screen.
In the menu click on the
button to change the selection method.
After changing any of the drop down selections at the top click the
button.

Click on a time to select that date and time for the appointment, this will return automatically to the Account Details screen.
Currently set appointments are plainly displayed.
Icons used in the diary are:

Note that if an appointment has been booked in the system and Google updated, then in future you will see both the icon from the CRM entry and the Google entry at the same time.
To go to a specific date, use the
button and then click on the
button.
Use the
button to go to the previous week/month.
Use the
button to go to the next week/month.
Use the
button to display a monthly rather than weekly calendar. This can be predefined in the Area settings. NOTE: selecting a datetime in the Monthly view is done by clicking on the date which then shows the weekly view, use this to select the actual datetime.
