If using 8x8 as your SIP provider you will need to make sure you have downloaded and set up the 8x8 Virtual Office VoIP Softphone available from their website. The softphone needs to be tested and you need to be able to make phone calls using only the softphone, if you need help with this make sure to contact the 8x8 Customer Success Support team.
Along with the softphone installed you will also need to install their 8x8 Click2Pop plug-in which includes a browser plug-in that will make the telephone field you have displayed in the system "clickable". No further setup is needed from the system's end but you will have to make sure that this application and plug-in is installed on each computer that you want to be able to click-to-dial from the system.
