Menu options:
Setup> Field Headings > All Fields (Global)
Setup > Field Headings > All Fields (Area xxx) [where xxx is the Database Area you are currently in]
The texts in the Global option will be used unless texts have been set for the Area (the second option). So if you want different texts or text Field controls in different Database Areas always use the second option - Setup > Field Headings > All Fields (Area xxx)
Use Replacement Name to change the label text on the screen.
Use Control to control the behavior of the Field, for example

Contact History

Comments | This field can have *nv applied. The only reason is to remove the Notes field from the Wrapup section. |
Nextdate | To remove the time option on the Wrapup section, enter *dateonly |
Contact Name Details
The only screen these details affect is the Name Details screen (click the Name Details button at the top of the Account Details screen). All Fields on that screen are configured here apart from the Contact Additional Fields.
