Filtering

Using the 'Filter Campaign List' button (

Campaign List Overview

Email Campaigns are listed in the table. Clicking on each separate campaign will show the steps within that campaign.

The drop down list shows the steps and the relevant statistics.

Heading

Description

Area

The Area this Campaign is in.

ID

Shows the Campaign ID.

Start Date

Shows the scheduled start date of the Campaign (this will be blank if the Campaign has not been scheduled).

Name

Shows the Campaign name (this can be edited using the 'Edit Campaign Header' icon)

Status

Shows the Campaign status.

Not Scheduled

The Campaign steps have not been configured. A Campaign start date has not been set. The Campaign will not run until a start date is set.

Scheduled

At least one Campaign step has been configured, the Campaign will run on the date specified.

Finished

All Campaign steps have been completed. Note it is still possible to add additional steps, this will result in the Campaign returning to a 'Scheduled' status.

Paused

The Campaign has been paused, no further Campaign steps will run. If the Campaign has not yet started it will not start. You can resume the Campaign by pressing the 'play' button in the 'Action' area (). If the Campaign steps are set to run in the past the Campaign steps will be triggered immediately. You will be warned if you try to resume a Campaign with steps set to run in the past.

Next Step

Shows the next step of the Campaign based upon the scheduled dates in the initial setup.

Quantity

Shows the number of emails to be sent. (Shows the quantity of emails that have been sent so far if the Campaign has started)

Opened

Shows the number of emails that have been opened per Campaign. Percentage worked out on the number of opened per the number of sends

Clicked

Shows the number of emails where any link has been clicked per Campaign.

Clicks

Shows the total number of clicks per Campaign. Note that this is different to 'Clicked' as it takes into account the fact that there may be multiple links in one email, and those links may have been clicked more than once.

Bounces

Shows the number of non delivery reports/bounces that have been received. Note bounce configuration must have been filled in for this to work.

Unsubscribes

Shows how many people have unsubscribed. Note this includes campaign unsubscribes and global unsubscribes.

Action

Choose from the following actions:

Info ()

Information from the Email Campaign and edit the Campaign name.

Edit ()

Edit the Campaign which shows the steps.

Duplicate ()

Duplicate the Campaign.

Pause/Play ()

Pause the Campaign. No further Campaign steps will run. If the Campaign has not yet started it will not start. You can resume the Campaign by pressing the 'play' button. The pause button will change to a play button when a Campaign is paused. If the Campaign steps are set to run in the past the Campaign steps will be triggered immediately. You will be warned if you try to resume a Campaign with steps set to run in the past.

Graphs ()

Shows the current Campaign results as a graph.

Delete ()

Delete the Campaign. Note there is no way to recover a deleted Campaign, use this option with caution!

Step Setup Overview

The step setup is accessed by clicking on the Campaign.

New steps can be added by clicking 'New Step' or duplicating (

) an existing step.

The bounce setup is configured by clicking the 'Campaign Bounce Setup'.

Heading

Description

Step

Shows the step ID.

From

Shows the step number that the 'Type' column is looking at for its data.

Date

Shows the date the step is set to run (this will be blank if the step is not yet configured).

Type

Shows the step type, this is configured in the step setup.

Document

Shows the document name, this is configured in the step setup.

Subject

Shows the email subject line, this is configured in the step setup.

Status

Shows the step status. You can click on the Status to open the Email Campaign Logging window. Click here to read more about the Email Campaign Logging window.

Not Scheduled

The step has not been configured.

Scheduled

The step will run on the date specified.

Sent

The Campaign step is complete.

Paused

This step is paused. This Campaign step will not run. If this is the first Campaign step the Campaign will not start. If this is not the first Campaign step only this step will not run, subsequent Campaign steps will run. You can resume the step by pressing the 'play' button ().

The pause button will change to a play button when a step is paused. If you resume a step that was set to run in the past it will run immediately. You will be warned if you resume a step set to run in the past.

Running

The Campaign step is currently being processed.

Quantity

Shows the number of emails to be sent (shows the quantity of emails that have been sent so far if the Campaign has started)

Sent

Shows the number of emails which have been sent.

Opened

Shows the number of emails that have been opened per Campaign. The percentage shows the number of email opened as a percentage of the total email sent.

Clicked

Shows the number of emails where any link has been clicked per Campaign. The percentage shows the number of emails where a link was clicked as a percentage of the total emails opened.

Clicks

Shows the total number of clicks per Campaign. Note that this is different to 'Clicked' as it takes into account the fact that there may be multiple links in one email, and that links may have been clicked more than once.
