Scripts can be run as a "popup" within the browser or they can be set to display as a panel within the View. If running as a "popup" it can be run manually or it can run automatically when the next account is loaded.
To run manually, in the Account Details screen click the
button.
Single click on the required script.
You can pre define what scripts are available in the User Profile.
The first question of a example script is shown as:
Notice the system has automatically merged the "Good morning/afternoon" as well as the Contact information and Confirmation question.
The user just needs to click the appropriate answer, in this case if the answer is "Not right now, can you call me back?" there is nothing else to do other than add a Nextdate in the Wrapup panel so you can call them back. The user would need to click on the Next button in the script which will close it allowing them to add the Call back.
If the user clicks on the Yes answer for this script, the system shows:
This shows the current values of the selected database fields (in this case the Confirmation Answer field) which the user can update, when the Next button is pressed the system will update those fields in the Account.
If the script is being used to set the call outcome it is important to keep clicking the Next button to complete the script.
