Copy a Specific Section to Another Database Area

You can copy specific sections of the system rather than copying all settings. For example you can copy the Owners, Responses, Customer Statuses and/or the Documents.

Please note that an Authority Level of Power User or above is required to copy settings.

To copy, for example, Documents into another Database Area select Menu > Setup > Database Areas.

Select the Source Area, the database Area you want to copy from.

Select the Destination Area, the database Area you want to copy to.

Ensure the checkbox next to Documents is ticked.

A warning will appear to advise you that any existing settings in the Destination Database Area will be overwritten with the settings of the Source Database Area. You will need to 'ok' this popup to continue.

Ensure you are in the correct Database Area and check that your documents have been copied across.

It will be the same process for the other options but you will need to check the relevant heading.
