You must have an authority level of Administrator (100) in order to delete Database Areas.

Note that you cannot delete the Database Area which you are currently in so you will need to change Area before hand by going to Menu, File > Change Area.

Go to Menu and Setup > Database Areas.

Select the database area that you wish to delete from the list.

Double check that you have selected the correct database area.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select

button_delete4

A warning will appear advising you this CANNOT be undone which you will need to 'OK' if you are happy to go ahead.

An alternative to deleting an Area is setting the Area as not Active, this will hide the Area from the List but will give you the option to access the Area in the future should you need too.

To do this you will need to go to Menu and Setup > Database Areas.

Select the database area that you wish to set as inactive from the list.

Then uncheck the Active Area option and Save.
