This is where you can add new Contacts to existing Accounts in your system.
To import contact names to existing Accounts in the system it is necessary to have a unique identifier in the import file. Ideally, this would be the account number but can be something else, such as the account name or telephone number. Note that whatever field is used, it must be an exact match.
In the Import Type select and upload the Import file.
Be sure that Customers is selected for Import Type.
Click the Continue button.
Remember to map the Import File Fields to the relevant System fields. For example, to map the account number, select the system field: Account: Account number. Unwanted fields in the Import file can be ignored and not mapped.
Click the Continue button.
Select the option Insert Contacts, as below.
Then click Start Import.
