Customer Products can be used in many different ways but the content of the Data is always very similar. The system also makes it possible to rename and reconfigure these Fields.
Please Note - It is best to reconfigure before Importing or Entering any Data.
To configure the Customer Product List section on the Additional Page tabs go to the Menu option, Setup > Field selection > Customer Product List.

Go to the Menu option: Setup > Field Selection > Customer Product Details.
List type
There are three options for Type, this enables two distinct Product Lists to be shown in the Account Details screen (select the appropriate Product options in the Additional Page Tab setup). Note that the names "Existing" and "Potential" are arbitrary and could refer to some other designations. If only one list of Products is required just leave the Type option as Default.
Default There is no particular type for the Product Records
Existing The Product records are flagged as Existing Products
Potential The Product records are flagged as Potential Products
Select the required Type and click the button View.
Field Selection
Single-click the required Fields on the left side to be selected on the right side.
Use the delete button to remove unwanted Fields
Each Field can be dragged up or down (not with the cursor in one of the text boxes) to re-order the Fields.
To change a Field title enter the new name in the textbox for Replacement Name.
Field Type
To change the type of Data that is stored in a Field click the tools edit button.
The available Field types are:
String (has a limit to the number of characters that can be saved)
Text (texts with unlimited length)
Date/time
Integer (zero decimal places)
Decimal numbers
Large decimal numbers (numbers greater than 32,000)
Control
You have the ability to add controls to these fields if needed.
